Placeholder Post

Several notes:

1.  I am in Antigonish, Nova Scotia.

2.  Being back in the Maritimes rocks my socks.

3.  I hesitate to post exactly what I've been up to until I can get the pictures off my camera.  But right now, I'm listening to fiddle music in a tiny park, watching small children dance, and scamming an internet connection from some nearby business.  Yep, Antigonish has wi-fi.

4.  This is part of what will be covered in a longer post, but: the Midas mechanic here is awesome.  We had a nice long chat about politeness, the Canada Day fireworks (which were quite spectacular here), why people don't know more about their cars, and why Halifax is no fun to live in (too big a city, we agreed) while he welded my flex pipe.  This is not a euphemism.

When cars go wrong, they go wrong.  But all is well now.  Expect a more revealing post on the morrow.  In the meantime, talk amongst yourselves.

Well, darn, I was hoping for a euphemism.

Hey, nice mountie.

That's not a euphemism either.
